协会简介

　　上海市船东协会（Shanghai Shipowners’Association ，简称SSA）于2005年4月18日在上海成立。上海市船东协会是市场经济发展的产物，它由同业及相关行业的企业自愿组成，是一个自律性的非营利性社团组织。作为航运市场经营活动的一个重要的中间组织，船东协会具有协调航运市场主体利益、提高市场配置效率的功能。
上海市船东协会的成立，是改革开放和市场经济发展以及政府转变职能的需要，也是上海国际航运中心发展的需要，更是上海地区航运企业共同营造良好的市场经营环境的需要。充分利用上海市船东协会这一平台，发挥上海地区船东整体竞争能力，加强船公司与当地港口和政府间的沟通，协调船公司间在地方港口城市地区的营销活动，确保当地市场竞争环境健康、有序的发展，是上海市船东协会发展的根本目的。
　　上海市船东协会的服务宗旨是：当好政府的参谋，维护企业合法权益，发挥好协会在政府与企业间的桥梁作用，做好企业的助手，不断促进上海地区航运企业的自律行为。从而使上海市船东协会为提高上海港的综合竞争能力，促进上海国际航运中心的发展发挥积极的作用。协会的主要职能是围绕市场调研、政策法律咨询、项目研究、信息服务、技术培训以及对外交流合作等方面开展活动。目前上海市船东协会拥有会员包括中海集团、中远集运、中海集运、长荣海运、马士基等中外知名船公司60余家。本协会的业务主管单位是上海市建设和交通委员会，登记管理机关是上海市社团管理局。本协会同时接受上海市建设和交通委员会、上海市港口管理局和上海市社团管理局的业务指导和监督管理。上海市船东协会将积极发挥行业协会的沟通与协调作用，为上海地区航运市场营造一个竞争、合作、规范、有序的竞争环境，为上海国际航运中心的发展乃至我国航运市场的繁荣做出应有的贡献。

　　Shanghai Shipowners’ Association (SSA) was established in Shanghai on April 18, 2005. In accordance with the development of market economy, SSA is a non-profitable association originated by the shipping companies and related enterprises with voluntary. As an important intermediate organization of the shipping market management activity, the functions of SSA are coordinating the benefits of shipping market and improving the efficiency of marketing deployment.
　　 The establishment of SSA is adapted to the need not only of the reform and opening-up, but also of the development of market economy and the changing of governmental functions. SSA is beneficial for the development of international shipping centre of Shanghai. Furthermore, SSA can effectively support the shipping enterprises in Shanghai to build the good market management environment jointly. Through this platform, the main goals of development of SSA are as following: to exert the overall competitive power of shipping companies in Shanghai; to strengthen the communication among the shipping companies, local ports and governments; to coordinate marketing activities in urban areas of local ports among the ship companies; to guarantee the healthy and orderly development of local market competitive environment.
　　SSA has several aims of providing service, which are consulting to the government; safeguarding enterprises’ legal rights and interests; acting as the bridge between the government and enterprises; being a good assistant of the business enterprise; constantly promoting the autonomic behaviors of shipping companies in Shanghai. SSA acts actively to improve the comprehensive competitive power of Shanghai Port and promote the development of international shipping centre. The main function of the association is to launch the activities, such as market survey, consultation of law and policy, project research, information service, technical training and foreign intercommunion and coorperation, etc. So far, more than 60 famous shipping companies of China and foreign countries, including China Shipping (Group) Co., COSCO Container Lines CO., Ltd., China Shipping Container Lines CO., Ltd., Evergreen Marine Corporation and A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, have become members of SSA. The service master unit of the association is Shanghai Construction and Management Commission and the register management department is Shanghai Administration Bureau Of NGOs. The association is supervised and directed by Shanghai Construction and Management Commission, Shanghai Administration Bureau Of NGOs and Shanghai Municipal Port Administration Bureau.
　　SSA will take on an actively role of communicating and coordinating, so that a competitive, cooperative, normative, orderly competitive environment of the shipping market in Shanghai could be established. It is no doubt that SSA will make due contribution to both the development of international shipping centre of Shanghai and the prosperity of the shipping market of China.
